In response to today's shocking ESRI unemployment predictions as outlined in all of today's media, Flexitimers would like to cheer up professionals that although this is alarming, it certainly does not mean there is no "work" out there. There has been a growing trend towards portfolio careers / project work by employers reticient to hire full time staff. However, this just means that we need to think outside the box and move the focus from full time permanent work towards generating multiple income streams.
